039: Why We’re Not That Far Apart

I think now, I know, that you and I aren’t that far apart. So why is it that we reach for people that are so far removed from our current position?

All right, we just finished Thanksgiving week and this could be a tough one. We’re being told to social distance. But I’m not here to talk politics or COVID. I believe the better, easier word is we’re being told to physically distance as we need each other socially.

We need that connection. So let’s connect like literally, let’s connect. My information is below.

So sure, it’s fun to watch the stars and reach for them. But how likely at this point is Gary V able to understand or work with you? Now, I’m not knocking at Gary V and where he’s at. But when someone is two to four steps ahead of you, they’re still in the trenches. So I’m not here, you know, as a coach, because that’s not my path. What I do want to be is a conduit to who you could be working with. The guests we have on the show have gone through and are still going through the trenches. They’re attainable, they’re actionable, and they’re results leaders, not thought leaders. They’re the results leaders that you’re looking for.

So I’m thankful to the people that have been on this show. Those that listen, and the team backing me. 2020 has been a ride to say the least. It’s had its ups and challenging moments. What I do know is running into 2021 isn’t going to change anything. You need to focus on who you want to be who you want to work with, and who you want to surround yourself with. We talk about these in the solo shows, and with the guests on the show.

I know for me, 2021 is going to be one of the most exciting, challenging, life-altering years. We’re launching a new platform called The Success Finder. You’ve heard me talk about it. I’m going to learn how to raise VC—Venture Capital– for the first time, run multiple businesses, and most of all, stay grounded around my family and friends.

Here’s why we’re going to win and be successful in 2021 and going forward. I’ve got the coaches. I’ve got the mindset. I’ve got the challengers, crabs, and cheerleaders. Hearing the word no is just another way to learn. We’re going to solve a problem. So let’s do it together. I’ve had a few coaches say this recently, Steve Sims and Frederick Douglas Busey to be specific, and they’ve both been on the show. “The definition of hell will be stepping up to the gates and seeing who I could have become.” I talked about this in Episode Three. I want my son to look at me and say “I gave it my all. Did everything possible to solve problems and create success.”

These are my thoughts. I’d love to hear yours as well. Please reach out to me. I appreciate all the people that have sent emails and set up conversations one on one. Hit the subscribe button in Apple podcasts or whatever platform you’re using.
