What’s up everyone? I’m Michael Fabber, and I’m hijacking the solo episode of The Mastermind Effect. Today we’re going to talk about the three things you need to be freaking doing early and often to find success.
But before we get there, it’s always time for a good shameless plug. On February 19, we’re having a mastermind retreat at headquarters, which isn’t aware—Delaware, that is. Most people don’t know where that is but it’s a beautiful, little state on the East Coast. Come check us out! Brandon will be there and many other amazing people, entrepreneurs. So if you’re a heart-centered and impact-driven, and you’re trying to create greater impact, a greater income, and you’re here to change the world—this is a place for you. You’ll have three days total immersion into experiences. You’ll experience different activities for the first time ever. These are different activities to grow yourself, your business, your relationships, health and wealth.
Then, of course, you’ll get to meet some of the greatest trainers and people in the spaces in which they own. So if you’re looking for three days to change your life, change your business, change everything, if you’re looking to level up or elevate, there’s a spot for you to come on February 19. Just check me out Michael Fabber, and I’ll let you know the details. It’s unleashunowretreat.com. Now, let’s get to what you were waiting for.
So what are the three things you need to be doing early, often, and all the damn time if you want to reach that level of success that you’re striving for? That level that you dream of great dreams and turn them into reality. That’s what we’re all about.
First, we can’t do that without clarity.
What are you really about? What’s your mission? What’s your purpose? Don’t just tell me money, because that makes me want to give a good old throw punch.
If you don’t have clarity, if you don’t have clear answers for these early and often and regularly, we can’t find where we’re going. We have to know what we’re about, why we’re doing it, how we’re going to, right? There’s so many questions! What? Where? Who? How? When? We’re checking this every month.
We check our clarity, because if we can see better, then the next and second part is we can make our map better.
What paths are we taking? I’ll make up worlds, I don’t care. Where do we want to go? How do we want to go about getting there? Who are the people we need to know or should know in the space to be able to impact? No longer the people we can impact, but people that can help us reach more and impact more.
So, how are you mapping out? Think about this. To climb a mountain, why do you use a guide? Because the guide understands where to go and where not to go.
They understand that climbing up this way, gets you there safely. And this way gets you to death safely. If that’s such a thing, I guess you can get to death safely. But that’s all about mapping out. We have to be able to map out our path.
This is one of my greatest things that someone ever told me: “You want to hear God laugh? Tell him your plans.” We have to know that our plans are going to change, our maps are going to change, our path is going to change. So don’t get too caught up and know I’m supposed to be going this way. Like no. Readjust. Let’s get that clarity and say, “Hey, this is how we get there.”
The last one is the most important one. Listen, no story was ever written about a man that did nothing.
That was impactful, right? That hit you right in the heart.
Again, no story was ever written about a man that did nothing. Number 3. We got to take action.
Like what Tony Robbins says all the time that he stole from a thousand other people, it’s all about massive action. We have to take massive action. You got to be willing to try, and try, and throw things at the wall.
Listen, I threw 17 different stick pads on the wall. Not literal stick pads, that’d be funny. We call them stick pads because that’s where we try to stick our people. Before a single person asked me a question about what we were doing, imagine if I stopped after two? You would have saw me at a local restaurant serving or bartending because I did that for years.
I can mix a drink. Like if you could use risks, right? And I do it with a smile. If they tell you how to shake a drink and smile when you’re doing it, it’s really weird looking. I swear to God, a bartender invented the shake and wait. Anyway, if you don’t take action, and massive amounts of it, you won’t be able to get to where you want to get to.
They say if you keep going, you’ll get there. They don’t say if you try once, you’ll get there. Be willing to try over and over. Learn. Adjust. Pivot. Adapt. All the cool words that we’re using in 2020 because of how crazy it has been. But we got to take massive action.
If you do, you get there. If you do more, you get more. You know that in multiple different ways.
So remember three, clarity. You got to be able to exactly know what you want, how you want to do it, how do you want to go about it, what mission do you want, what impact do you want to have, What legacy you want to leave, whose lives are you making better by you being here.
Alright, clarity, map, create your map, Check your path. See how you’re going to start. See the first step. See achievement stones along the way so you know you’re getting closer, so you can map progress.
Remember, if it’s measurable, it’s manageable. If it’s not, it’s not. So we got to be able to put things in place so we can measure things to be able to manage things. Alright, and the last one take massive freaking action. Like pain in the ass action. Take it. Take it often. Take it early. Take it all the damn time.
I’m Michael Fabber. Thank you guys so much, The Mastermind Effect.
