Here’s the thing, it might not be a popular statement, but I think the marketers are able to out-market the quality coaches and masterminds. So how do you tear through the noise to know who you can trust?
Well, I think there are many steps in doing this, but I’ll keep it simple to tell you what I’m seeing and how I got there. Now, I don’t want this to go without being said, I’ve spent $16,359 on the wrong ones. But I’ve spent a considerable amount more on the right ones to get me to where I’m at.
I don’t want this to be a discouraging number. But if I sit here and tell you how I’ve done X, Y, and Z, and don’t tell you about my mistakes, how could I ever be credible?
Number one, trust in someone.
That person should be you. You need to trust your instinct in getting into a new room and being uncomfortable. There are plenty of them out there. And we’ve talked about them before. But now you’re asking yourself, “Well, what if I choose the wrong room?”
Well, I’ve chosen the right room, and through time, it turned out to be the wrong room. Think about this, you’re able to outgrow who you currently are. So it’s only logical that you will eventually outgrow the rooms that you enter.
Number two, start reading the content and following those that you look up to.
There’s a good chance they have an accessible room that you can enter. Now, here’s the thing that you need to know, once you do this, depending on who they are, you’ll enter a funneling system in some cases. What’s the funneling system you ask? It’s exactly what you think it is, they will take you through their free content, which will eventually lead you to their initial offer. I could go into more details, but I think you get the gist of it. Don’t be frightened, though by this, it’s okay. You never have to say yes. And know that the free content is still valuable and useful.
Now, this next one is my personal opinion, when you’re digesting their free content. If you find what they’re doing valuable, let them know. Interact with them, and the other members of the group provide value. To me, it’s a give and take. If you sit there and say you don’t have any value to provide, you’re dead wrong. You do. By being there, you’ll find your superpower or value of who you will become.
Before I give you my last thought on this, I want to let you know what spurred the solo show. My feed lately, on all platforms, is filled with gurus, programs, offers, you name it, I’m seeing it. It’s like a never ending sea of “I can make you 100,000 a month if you follow what I’m doing because I just made 100,000 last month.” Well, they might be telling the truth. But I’m here to tell you, the marketers are out marketing the results leaders. They’re just downright better at getting their message in front of you and they’re better at getting their dollar cost per lead down at this point.
Some of them are better at renting a photographer a fancy car, a money gun. But they couldn’t afford real money to put in that money gun for the photo shoot so they put Monopoly money in there. And that’s sometimes who’s doing the marketing to you. I don’t want that to happen to you.
Let me remind you, I’m not a coach, I don’t have my own program. I don’t have a mastermind that I’m providing to you but I have a platform for you.
So here’s my last one. I saw a problem. I saw my unfair advantage. And I didn’t care if it was your last 500 or $5,000 are spent on the best investment which was you it was equally as important to me, I didn’t want you to fall prey to $16,359.
On a side note, this was several small mistakes on my part, not one big one. You need a place that you can go to know the coaches, the masterminds, the events, the right people in places looking out to help you with your results and in turn, helping you to continue to invest in yourself. A place that whether you come in the front door looking for specific coach, style, or category, or you come in the back door and want to find different blogs, blogs and videos highlighting the best knowledge out there, your journey is taken care of.
We aren’t for everybody. But if you’re living listening to this, we are for you. This is the place to help you become who you were meant to be. This place is built on the give mentality. At no point to be here will you have to spend $1 if you just want to use it as a resource, this is our for purpose business. This is our for purpose mentality.
